About PlayLab: A2AC PlayLab is a family-based program series developed by the exhibitions department at the Ann Arbor Art Center. Occurring between January through December 2023, the series harnesses the power of art-based play to build positive social-emotional connections between children and their caregivers. The no-fee events are geared toward caregivers and children, and are free and open to the public.

August's PlayLab features beloved Ann Arbor storyteller Laura Raynor telling colorful and sound-filled stories from the jungle! Hear about Ananse the spider, leopards, turtles, monkeys and more! Then stay to create rainbow sound makers and shakers for your whole family and see the color-based show titled Wavelengths in the A2AC Gallery.
Caregivers should plan to stay and participate. Arrival time between 10:30-10:45am. Program begins at 10:45am and ends around noon.
